Gruby Welding is a welding and metal fabrication brand focused on solid, precise and reliable work. The goal was to create a visual identity that feels strong, professional and straightforward — something that builds trust from the first contact.

The brand direction combines industrial character with a clean, modern look. The logo and visual elements were designed to feel bold but not heavy, technical but still easy to understand. The colour palette, typography and promotional materials create a consistent image across the website, social media and printed materials.

From first sketch to a working brand

Logo & Visual Identity

Gruby Welding came to me at the very start — a skilled welder with a name, a vision, and no brand yet. The search began on paper: dozens of directions, from bold typographic marks to symbols drawn from metal and sparks, refined step by step toward one strong, monolithic monogram.

The final mark — a confident GW monogram with a welding spark. Strong on a truck or a sign, clean on a business card.

Colours & Typography

A tight, confident system: deep red for heat and energy, black for strength, white for clarity — paired with a bold industrial typeface that looks at home on metal.
