A full rebrand for a metal processing company — from brand strategy to a complete visual identity, print system, and website direction.

The Project

One specialism. One confident mark.

Centrum Obróbki Metali is a metal processing company producing custom parts, structures, and components for industry and business. The company had grown — but its identity hadn't kept pace. It looked dated, cluttered, and no longer matched the precision of the work itself.

This was a full rebrand. I started from strategy and explored a wide range of directions before landing on a clean, confident mark — then built it out into a complete visual identity that became the foundation for the company's print materials, advertising, and website.

The Work

From a crowded logo to a clear system

A rebrand is a decision before it's a drawing. The work moved from sharpening the strategy, through a wide logo exploration, to a full identity rolled out in print and on screen.

The Starting Point

The old logo carried two messages at once — metal processing and wood-derived products — in a heavy red-and-black treatment that felt generic and was hard to reproduce small. The first decision was strategic: one clear specialism, one confident mark.

Finding the Mark

I didn't jump to the final logo. I started wide and narrowed deliberately — so the final mark is a decision, not a guess.

Colour & Typography

Three core colours carry the identity — a deep navy for authority, a bright cyan for energy, and a teal that bridges the two. A small set of supporting tones keeps documents and the website calm and readable. Type pairs Source Sans 3 for clarity in body and interface with Inria Sans for warmth in headlines.

Brand Book

Everything was captured in a mini brand book — logo construction and clear space, usage rules, the colour system, typography, and a custom icon set built around the company's real processes: laser cutting, CNC, bending, welding, powder coating.

In Use

The brand rolls out into a full toolkit — business cards with an integrated QR contact card, letterhead, email signature, an A4 services catalogue, and the visual direction for the website.
